Progress on the studio has been slow as of late. I managed to get the first coat of mud sanded. I have also rewired the light switches and started work on converting the ceiling grid to a 2′x2′ pattern in order to support the new recessed lights. I am hoping to finish the drywall and hang the door this weekend.

The new wall for the studio is up. I just finshed hanging the drywall and applying the first coat of mud. Next will be the applicaion of a second coat of mud and installation of the pre-hung door. I am hoping to have everything painted the week after Thanksgiving.

The show last night at Mario’s House of Steak and Cheese went exceptionally well. Not only was the food decent, the turnout wasn’t half bad either. The people who run this open mic are awesome. I think we will be making it back here real soon…
